Well, I just started my first blog! I've decided that this will be a great way for my children to learn about my journey with them. Hopefully they will someday be able to look back on my entries and see their life through my eyes. And maybe they'll get a better glimpse of me, not just as their mom, but as a person.
I love the saying, "Life is a journey, not just a destination." This life really is a journey, and I love it. I feel like my scope on life broadens more and more everyday and I appreciate my life's experiences so much more as that happens. The good, the bad, the hard times....I wouldn't trade any of them because that's what makes this journey mine. I wouldn't be who I am today without all the yesterdays.
As we go through the somewhat mundane things in life, it's sometimes hard to find joy in the journey but, my hope is that I can, and hopefully by keeping this "journal", I can look back and see just how much fun the journey really is.
"We may run, walk, stumble, drive or fly, but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey."
