Today is my hubby's birthday so this entry is all about him! (This is one of my favorite pictures)
I know everyone thinks they have the perfect husband (and if they don't, they should!) But, I really do. Does he always put the toilet seat down? No. Do his clothes always make it into the hamper? No. But, he never leaves the house or comes home without giving me a kiss (no matter how much "kid" I have on me or what I look like). He waits up for me no matter how late I come home from a girl's night out. He lets me have 1 foot touching him all night long as he sleeps (I know, a weird quirk of mine). He LOVES my cooking. He makes me feel like I am the hottest thing he's ever laid eyes on. He cleans up the kitchen after dinner. He bakes bread when I don't have time. He spends quality time with each of our children and makes them a priority in his life. He truly puts his family first. He can fix anything. He will go shopping with me on date nights even though he absolutely despises it, just because he knows it makes me happy. He has such a kind heart. He is a hard worker. And, he is my biggest fan.
Why I first fell in love with him...
He had so much confidence.
He was so ambitious. He knew exactly what he wanted and had a plan to achieve it.
He did the most unexpected, most random things sometimes. Like when he picked me up wearing his skater helmet and in all seriousness handed me one and said, "If you ride in my car, you have to wear one of these as a safety precaution." I never knew when to take him seriously.
He made me laugh.
He took his priesthood responsibilities seriously and had such a testimony of Christ.
And, he was so good looking!
The beautiful thing is all these years later, he is still all of these things and so much more.
Some of our favorite things to do together...
play any board or card game
watch Hero's or Last Comic Standing
go to Starbuck's and contemplate life over a blended cream frappuccino
wash the car
travel
play with our children
go rollerblading
Some of my favorite things about him....
the way he smells before he leaves for work
his beautiful smile
his sense of humor
the way he is so laid back
how he unselfishly places so much importance on my happiness
his bread making skills
his love for spending time with our children
the way he twirls a pencil around his fingers when he's thinking
his laugh
his great work ethic
his honesty
the way he looks when he's wakeboarding :)
