I found this in my "posts that never got finished". This was a week after Bryson's birthday in October. I think it's important for him to look back and see this one someday. :)
It has entered our home, into the hands of a 13 yr. old and...
our lives will never be the same.
It was only a matter of time before it was going to happen.
Inevitable really.
I mean, I could only put it off for so long.
And now, it doesn't leave his clutches! His fingers have become quick on the draw, perhaps one of the fastest texters around.
(And what's with kids these days? They take to texting like it's second nature to them, like they were born to do it.
Weird.
It took me forever to get my fingers to move at a reasonable speed that actually made texting quicker than calling someone!)
It has caused his social life to explode. As if that wasn't problem enough already...
And girls! That's all he texts with. Overnight he went from goofy preteen to a regular Casanova.
It's opened up a whole new world of interaction with the opposite gender...a sure fire way to accelerate any relationship.
Thank the heavens I didn't cave and give him one sooner...
at least i had 13 good years with him. :)
